Teamspeak or similar for EQFollow
Our guild uses Teamspeak (with the overlay). Works pretty well but I don't have any experience with other programs out there so nothing to compare it to.

The officers in my guild have used Teamspeak for a couple of years now.
This summer we also gained use of a Ventrillo channel for the guild as a whole.

Guild I was in used to use teamspeak. It was good for our needs, but only worked when the person who had the main connection was in game or logged onto it.
I had no mike so was unable to be heard. I could hear just fine.

Teamspeak is,IMHO, by far the best. It is the least intrusive followed closely by Ventrillo. Skype is VERY intrusive and will cause lag. Roger wilco is ok, but the least in terms of sound quality.
Another benefit of TS is that they have a beta server you can use to set up your room so you don't need someone to set up a server to run it. We have a default room that is password protected. When someone, anyone, logs on, they check to see if the room is there and if not, creates it.

My girlfriend uses TeamSpeak2 when she plays EQ2.
Unfortunately it won't work properly on her machine so she needs to run the program - and her headset - off my box.
