No EQ for me last week.

Well, actually that's not true... Yesterday evening, I played for 20 minutes and killed 3 marsh bears for my [sm]DON Cultural Armor Journeyman's Task[/sm].

Um...weekend is a blur.

I just woke up, fell out of bed, smashed leg into table, hurts like hell.

I had stomach acid problems last night, spent most of the night on the bathroom floor.

I just spent $2900 on a new computer and it doesn't work, need to take it back.

I think I'm hungover...not awake enough to know for sure, probably am.

On the positive side, I dinged 70 and got 10aa's. The guild is great, within 30 seconds of logging in I'm grouped and stay grouped till I pass out. I'm surrounded by a lot of really great people. I just wish my new comp was working. /sigh

Got my first Group in Plane of Innovation. We just pulled at the entrance and ended up getting 1 yellow (5 blues) in about an hour worth of playing. Mobs have a ton of hit points and take forever to kill.

Learned some finer points of aggro control. Since this toon is my main, I was unaware of how easily a chanter can grab aggro. Learned to cool my jets a bit and let the tanks tank. This is really the first zone that I encountered aggro control. Mainly because the mobs take a long time to go down. Pretty neat evening in my opinion.

Still trucking towards level 54...

Missed every single raid event in the guild including Fay for Dot's epic and Chardok and Ragefire for Frakkor's Smiley: grin

Went into Tower o' Sol Ro and got trained by a monk trying to solo. Resisted saying snarky things in /ooc when I saw him in PoK begging for a rez. That's the second time that guild has trained us in Sol Ro now (first time we handled it, second time the cleric hadn't zoned in yet). Without naming names, my impression is that they're a bunch of morons with just enough levels between them to make themselves dangerous to all around them. We were rewarded by the karma gods with four drops within an hour though.

Aye, we did miss you, but on a plus note....we found out that WE can raid without you =) I was initially a little doubtfull on Chardok, but Kakar pulled wonderfully! We actuallay managed to take down the King and Queen before we were overrun.

Joined a new guild. "War Raiders". I like it alot so far. We are currently keying for VT and i would like to get in there and get some of that stuff. For me at 58 shammy would be nice little upgrades. I usually dont have much time to play between going to college my 6th year full time, and a 30 hour/week job at Circuit ******, but i had all of saturday off and got screwed into hanging out with my g/f instead of playin EQ. o well. trying to hit 60 before the end of this week. seeing how i only play about 12 hours a week thats a good goal. ***** MM's cause the newbs always take 1 1/2 hours to complete and then we fail and i dont get any EXP. Ill stick to PoV and the like this week!

For want of going out to kill things, I started doing the Abysmal sea trade skill quests for winjon and did that a bit Thursday and Friday.
On Saturday I put my Looking for Pets tag up on Courtin, got a POV group together and in 2 hours had made Lvl 60 and on half way to an AA. Also skilled up on 2hb as my healing wasnt all needed. Did have a CH land on the main tank when he was at 3 percent health and had just said "OK I am going to die." Just missed the purple club on him.
Found out that a monk, beastlord and 2 warriors are ok for doing damage, and handling adds. Just missed the ability to snare the mobs, but at the oc camp they usually run towards the hill and not towards other mobs. When we added the shaman for slows it went even faster.
Oh and gave tours of the City on Friday and Saturday for the visitors in town for our marathon.

Fay raid, Chardok raid, Ragefire raid. Busy, busy, busy! Smiley: tongue

Worked on my bst and druid a bit on Sunday morning. I really like my troll bst mainly for the fact that she is unusual. I've only seen one other female troll bst on Povar. However, I'm really starting to feel the exp penalty. My druid got 2 yellow bubbs with no vet AA running while the bst only got 3 blues with vet AA running. Druid is a lvl 49 (dinged 50) wood elf and bst is 54, but that still seems to be a huge difference. I really want to level her but it's soooo slooooow.

Got 3 AAs on my mage and a nice pair of sleeves from the OT mission.

Dinged 65 and an AA on the cleric!

Very fun and rewarding week-end! Smiley: yippee

Did guild raid Firday night. We were a little undermanned. Had a wipe due to seeinvis/ bad positioning. Then got to the raid target and additional spawns were too much when one came running into camp and took out everyone but myself and our monk. Corpse recovery is interesting.

Helped with a couple epics, found my pulling skills to be as suspect as they always were. Smiley: grin

Got my shaman from 24 to 27 almost 28 over the weekend. Mistmore is still a great zone to get exp in, and as long as I can control the runners I don't die too much. I think people are starting to remember that zone, as on Sunday there were some people there killing. It's great as long as high level l33t dudes don't come in and train all the mobs all over the place so it takes forever for them to reset. I got killed twice because some 50+ monk wanted to show off or something.

I also downloaded DoN finally. I have to say I love the guild hall. It's a great place for a low level spellcaster to sit in the bathtub and cast spells to skill up (damn divination! I'll max you out yet!). Having you're own bankers rocks too. That was a great concept for SoE to have.
