Can anyone tell me when this patch will be over, i skipped school today to play EQ, but sadly thers been a patch goings on :(

12.5-((10/125.0)*(ETAMINUTES-175)) = %chanceyouwillbeplayingtoday
So essentially you have a 2.5% chance of playing today. You should have gone to school.

Patches are much better than they used to be.

hey then you take that 2.5% chance and times it by 24 hours and the essentially divide that into minuets and you can find out how long you are able to play.
so your over all time playing today is 150 minuets which is 2 hours and 30 minuets today. then you put in the logging in and patching thats 20 minuets cause 9 time out of ten you log in and go linkdead. then you have the lfg factor which is a variable based on your class so basically if ur not a healer, slower or tank you have a 40% wait for a group so that makes it about an hour wait then you have to ge there thats another 10 mins, but before getting there you need to get buffed for hp if ur a fighter, and if ur a hybrid you need c so thats 30 minuets wait if you need both. then you actually group for only 35 minuets on average. so there goes ur day. for 35 mins of actual fighting which could be 5-10 levels lower than you lol exp sucks.

Patches never been good but your right for the most part patches are done on time. But they used to tell you if they servers are up or if a patch was extended. Now they say all servers are up patch scheduled for such n such
