Vox... yes... Naggy... no... but let me remind you all, friendly reminder... do NOT use a pickup raid... we sat for about a half hour trying to get her pulled to the entrance... decided to move back to them... someone managed to get vox and 2 giant priests on me... so i start screaming heals... and the rest is history =p

Seen 'em both with Holgresh beads, haven't had the pleasure of killing either yet. Will one day though, even if it's the last day EQ is going to be alive!

Lol, check this out. I've been playing since before Kunark and have never hunted either of them in either a guild or pick up group.

I was just saying, yet again, to a guildie last night that even tho I buy every expansion there are many zones I havent been to yet.

Which is another reason I like EQ, it is growing faster than I can keep up with. There are still many many things I can try or go to.

EVERY time someone has ever shouted for a Nagafen group, I've been too high on some chars AND too low on others. Thankfully DoD will let me finally go on one of those raids with an elderly character (if 55 can even be called so, anymore) as a level 50.

I went on a pick-up raid for Lady Vox one time. After we found out she wasn't up (no one thought to check till we cleared half the zone) we decided to go after Lord Nagafen.

It was such a cluster.... it almost turned me against raiding for good.

me and 2 friends had them perma camped for a few months once, Me (shammy) along with 2 monks, was interesting before we got the hang of it. First kill wiped us twice.

I made a decision when my first character was approaching 50th (back in 2000) that I would never raid either of them and I have stuck to it.

At the time I was under the mistaken belief that EQ was a roleplaying game and I didn't feel dragonslaying was in keeping with the characters I wanted to play. I haven't considered EQ to be roleplayign game for years now, but I am sticking with a few of my earlier decisions anyway, out of stubbornness.

Had a very unsuccessful run at Lady Vox. It happened during the EQ 5th Anniversary and we got wiped twice by fableds trying to get to her. We called in some high level guildies to help clear the way and they got wiped at least once. I was still new to raiding and playing a cleric, so I was supposed to auto-follow a more experieinced monk to the point where I would be healing from. He got feared. After it wore off and we were running back I was summoned and I got a much better view of Lady Vox than I wanted. Everything happened so fast it seemed like I was back in PoK 30 seconds after the raid leader said go.

Done 15+ naggy raids with atleast 5 wins and ive done about 6 vox with 2 wins. i love both of the raids especially when its pick up for me it brings back my first memories of raids in EQ and the endless struggle that made EQ great.

I first met Lady Vox on my very first raid. Well, what an initiation that was! LOL

I kept getting "summoned" and later was told that I was "summoned" because I was causing to much damage (?) Never heard that before but if that was the case and even though I diedhorribly 3 times It's still nice to hear that. (This was with my 46 Ranger)

did exactly one Vox raid, and one Naggy raid..both wins...

Actually there is a mission where you are Naggy Fayed. It's a mission out of LS and it's one of my favorite ones. Being Naggy after dropping him so many times is pretty entertaining.

Never been there, never seen them.

I have seen Naggy... but was always either too low or too high to kill him. We once took a group of 60+ toons in to see how close we could get to Naggy before it would gate us out. I think this is one of the more stupid rules in EQ. The only 2 encounters that I know of that have a Max level restriction.

Instead of Naggy and Vox always being down, they are rarely ever down now. From my experience with the shrouds, they will not be enough to take naggy down. (unless you have a raid force of 60).

I have done both. A couple of years ago, the guild that I was in at the time would one group them, quite often. It was lots of fun.

LOL... sweet vids! How in the world did you make these? And let me give you an opportunity to brag here... was it just the two monks laying some smack down on the 2 lizards? If so, Im impressed!!!

Thanks for a good vid!
