DoD stories and infoFollow

I'm just curious as to everyone's ideas and opinions on this new expansion. Any information as to how long it takes to move the shroud progression % and all that good stuff.

I hunted in GFay & Crushbone as a level 5 Bear, for about an hour or so. No Adjustment.

Changed to a level 15 bear, hunted in Unrest. First kill got me to 2%. I am sure all the orcs I had previously killed helped, but I wanted to see how quick it would be.

Stayed there until 4%, probably about another hour.

Changed to a 40 bear, headed to the Overthere. 45 minutes or so later, I was at 6%.

It seems to me that: the higher level monster you choose to be, the higher level zone you will choose to fight in, the more XP you gain on the shroud, which makes sense, because of the following statement:

If you die, above 9th level, you receive a loss of your normal experience. The higher level you are, the more the XP loss will be, so the risk vs reward is kept "in-check."

I'm working on getting to Wolf Beast, albeit slowly. Someone on my server has already gotten to level 2 Orc.

i waqs suprised by how much fun it was to run around as a level 5 imp and kill stuff in everfrost! this could be a way to get a little bit of xp for tradeskill farming.

the xp on the shrouds is slow, seriously you could get an alt to 65 in the 300 hours it would take to unlock the 4th monster in a progression.

I have hunted as a level 40 cleric monster with a friend of mine alot last few days in Gunthak doing tasks and general exp as a 3 person group

currently have shawl at 38 percent most of it from that
and have gotten AA exp at level 65 at a slightly slower than normal rate when I duo with another 65 friend in Torrigon
(mainly cause cant use double exp as monster)

have been curious about what will happen if anything once I open other monsters other than just the monster

the main thing for me is being able to group with my lower level friends and still get decent exp

other things i have done
50 cleric in group exploring group was 5 peeps within 41 to 52
progress was slow prolly cause of large dif but did get a lil progress

grouping with 28 to 41 group in DSP as lvl 30 no noticable exp and no progress on shawl

55 cleric with 58 paladin and 55 tank
decent exp and progression tasks helped alot

level 5 cleric by myself in commons
not worth it at all no prgogression no exp to speak of after 2 hours gathering silks etc


hope this helps looks like any normal good exp fights will give you decent exp and progression if group is tight and constant fighting dark blues etc

one thig everyone should do is Monster mission - EXP WAS HUGE and got a aug for mana
at 65 it was +45mana /stamina
wasnt even near the end got it prolly 30 minutes into mission and we were taking it slow to set up stuff and familiarizze with area
it was the lvl 20 orc mission in neriak did it with 5 peeps
