Absolutely insane range slots stats for an item that has such a low trivial (150ish) and costs only about 1 plat each in materials. EQTraders has the basics for the recipe. Unfortunately not Bst useable. :(
What are you guys thoughts on these? They seem like absolutely great pulling tools. Could these lead the way to some type of archery type aa's for throwing?

I would think so, though I haven't tested yet. According to the 9/13 patch...

Final combine can be done with either fletching or smithing. subcombines are low trivial smithing for heads and fletching for shafts.
They are smithing recepies.

uh oh, my nerf-senses are tingling (i think that's what spiderman says), if they are that easy to make and have such good stats.
Damn its better than my current bow, except does not have +Attack, of course with bandolier I can just swap in the javos in when needed only and still have not lose stats.

Ok i bought one of these last night for my monk. I had a festive doll in my range and as soon as i saw this item is said HOLY %%&*&&*(. The stats are near as good for str and all that but the 15 ac rocks. I only paid 100 pp for it. i guess i got taken? but i did buy it for the stats not for the throwing ability.
Just checked the throwing skill for my SK :( unfortunatly no throwing skill available to level up. I would think he could still throw items but not sure if there would be any accruacy, not that he is all that accurate with a Bow either. Very nice stats though 10 extra AC and a few more hit points would be nice.

They are required lvl 70 now so don;t even worry ab out them...

I can't say for sure since I bought the expansion on the first day but there are no ingredients exclusively from the new expansion and there are no special containers needed so there is no reason why you couldn't make them.
The only difficulty I find is getting to the gnome fast enough to buy the required 'large brick of refined high quality ore' before he sells out.
I haven't had the chance to try the restocking quest yet to see if it works for the new ore. I hope it does but someone will need to verify it.
Please be kind if you do plan to make these and not buy any more than you need for at least a couple of weeks to let everyone try this. One 20 stack of ore made almost 500 javelins so please don't be greedy.
