Has anyone noticed besides me that the Network status is usally never updated anymore? This morning at 4am PST showed all server up except and a list of all english severs and the patch information for the 14th. Now at the time of this post (6:40 am PST)all servers are up and a patch message for the 15th stating the servers will be down from 4am-9am PST. I remember the days when you checked the EQ Website you were shown the population of each server then it went to an Up or Down staus. I would think a self updateing webpage service like that would be much more efficent.

This is one of many sony's problem that just tick's me off.

IMO this should be a ez fix eather a server is "UP" or a server is "DOWN".......

But Noooooo sony want you to spend X amout of time trying to get on......

Sorry for ranting but it is VERY annoying...

I agree, this is really annoying. I don't even bother to check SOE's webpage anymore. I just try logging in to the game and it either works or doesn't.

I really wouldn't be that hard to automate the page...I'm not sure why they have it static anyway.

cause the get_server_status API is broken ;) the collect_funds_off_players API still works though.

seriously, the website would need a complete redesign. just look at the content...I guesstimate a relaunch would be a 3000 hours job minimum though...

HAHAHA! that was a joke right? It wouldn't take 3000 hours to automate the network status page...maybe to overhaul the entire site..but not just one page

Frak, naw, not even SOE would need 3 k hours for the status page Smiley: wink I of course meant the whole EQ1 area. the amount of outdated info, unstructured etc.... one can really see, that this game has gone a long way

Back in the days when you could see how many people were on a server, you just knew if it was under 5 people no use trying to get on. it might say it was up but if the numbers were only 2 it was only the testers.....

there must be something that can be done I don't believe they spent3k hours so we don't see how many are on a server..
