Here's my weekend:

Fri: No EQ. Met a friend and went climbing. Cinema in the evening.

Sat: Babysitting at my sister's. My 3-year-old nephew is really sweet. Rolled an Iksar Shadowknight on FV in the evening to collect my 50pp from Goalkeeper (you didn't think that I would forget this, did you?)

Sun: No EQ.

Fri: SD, on top of the hill, sun revenants. ping, got spell casting fury 1.

Sat: SD again, ping.

Sun: father in laws burfday. great fun, to see old peeps (70 ish) tipsy. went home, and saw a red con I never saw before up there in SD - Elite Sun Revenant. thought I give it a try (w/o looking him up on this "spoilersite" here. he nuked me thrice, third nuke was for 2,3 k. well, loading, pls. wait...
went with guildies to Skyfire, only for 45 mins, but still, am glad I went there finally.

now this week I intend (intention only, cause ye never know ) to make 2,5 more AA's. I just want spell casting fury 2 badly - crits are just great

Friday my Ranger finally completed the Poachers head quest in JPF, dinging 44 in the process. Later she dinged 45 in The Hole.

Saturday took my Wiz on an infrequent raid with the guild to Tower of Solusuk Ro. We did great, had fun, not many casualties (sorry Debalic), I won a roll on a parchment and even got decent xp.

The Sol Ro mini-raid was the high point of the weekend for me too.

Even raid buffed to 7.7k, I was getting pummeled. Sometimes to help our cleric (and from self-preservation) I would switch for a shield for a little bit after establishing aggro, thinking I had enough aggro to get away with that. The piles of necro DoTs a few times outpaced me when I did that. I did keep an eye on HoTT and would switch back to dual wield when I lost aggro, but unfortunately if the first taunt failed there wasn't time for a second taunt.

In all I think I killed our necros three times by doing that.

On the bright side those were the only deaths.

The Sol Ro raid was a lot of fun. We had nine people, avg lvl of 60, I was the sole lvl 65 on the bard (doing pulls and slows) and I think the mobs conned red to seven of the folks there. Everyone did an exceptional job, Fortis especially at tanking and holding aggro. Considering that Aude Sapere is largely made of of people who first hit lvl 20+ while in the guild and it wasn't so long ago that we were making sure our group level averaged 20+ so we could get an LDoN, it was a treat to see us do so well. Netted a few pieces of ornate and a couple spectrals for our troubles but the main reward was just seeing a new zone and beating up giant flaming dudes.

They make me question why I'm playing a female character

I often question the same thing.

Sol Ro was a blast! The place is huge! We got a few drops, a bit of exp and everyone worked very well together. We MUST go back!

Saturday got a couple more AAs on the mage and cleric got halfway through 61. I'm really enjoying ChardokB. Mage is up to amiable in Chardok now.

Went to a concert Friday and Busch Gardens on Saturday.

Spent 8 hours spawning Froglok Shin Lord to get the ghoulbane and guess what....

No Drop of it what so ever!!!

Think I will stay away from UGuk for a bit. Can stand frogs right now.

Heh, I zoned into Sol Ro to hear you go "WTF? in the middle of rebuffing I succored?" Not the best of omens...

Thursday. Played on Elnes comp leveling up her enchantress while doing the armor quests in s ro. Tried to log on my computer and was able to play a half hour before power source is heating up and I shut it down. Oh I was playing Warlords2, yes 2, and computer Rail Baron.
Friday logged on Jonwin in AM. He is in GD killing crystal shardwurms. Mobs are DB and I can usually keep 3 dead. leaving the other two alone. Also worked a bit on the enchantress.
Left at 1230 to travel to National Civil War Museum in Harrisburgh Pa. Hadnt been there yet and a friend was going up for their fall dinner event. (He is a free lance writer.) So I paid for gas and my dinner. Museum is great! Spent 3 hours going through it and still had to rush at end, though I had some professional curtesy, they didnt force us out at 5PM. Dinner was good and I had a time talkign to the guest speaker over the food and listening to an elected officail of the city talk about the short sightedness and lack of experience of the emergency folks re Katrina. Made some parralells to ACW decisions. Came back home
to play the enchantress some more. Waiting on a mob to spawn and wondering if it did get messed up in recent patches.
Sat. More enchantress. Foud a guild member on! Found out leader who had dissapeared for 3 months was going to be on more. Was chantting with guildy when i saw AC up. He quickly came down, (thanks to the magus in guild hall.) and was able to kill him and let me loot the ac ring. Untill I get my video card im using it for wrist armor.
Sunday was work. Had a tour group in the AM, not too busy otherwise. That night I watched Rome on HBO, nice historically flavored soap opera. Played CIV II on my computer.

Elne needs to connect my machine back to internet.
