Do i hafta be a certain level before i can start using AA?

You must be lvl 50+ (51+?) to start working on Alternate Advancement. Typical wisdom is to:
(A) Either put 100% into AA or else 100% into normal xp
(B) Wait until you're level 60+ to seriously work on AA as the power increases you get per level are much greater than what you'll get per AA and you'll be able to gain AA much quicker at higher levels.

and the amount of experience to gain 1 AA point is the same amount of experience it takes to ding 51 from 50. Every AA costs that much, whether you are level 51 or 70. The theory for waiting to gain AA's until you are higher level is that the exp you gain from killing a blue when you are level 70 is more exp than you would gain from killing a blue when you are 51..thus, since the amount each AA costs is always the same, killing a blue at level 70 gains you more % of an AA per kill than killing a blue at level 51.

Still, many players want the benefit of certain AA's while they are grinding to 70. Most people turn on AA's long enough to get Run Speed 3 and then switch back to Exp grind...

Oh, and you find AA's off the Inventory screen, button at the bottom, beside the one that tells you your skills...

or the default button is "V" for AA's. That is where you can find the percentage also to put to AA exp.

Are there any good AA points for a level 51 (well almost) Enchanter to focus on???

I have travelers boots which are still holding up over the years even though they don't work all that well in dungeons. I can try and work on RunSpeed3 but would rather focus time on skills that would help me to solo.

Does anyone know a list/website that details the lower level AA abilities???

Thanks in advance!

for soloing RS3 will help a good bit, so will regen 3.

check graffe or casters realm (class areas link on the left, halfway down - there is a section "alternate advancement")

really useful are only the AA's you can obtain at lvl 55 and above.

edit: Joph, it's 51 and higher :)

You have to spend your 6 AA points in the General Category to receive your title. I spent 3 of my points on Mnemonic Retention which gives an additional spell slot and I did not get a title when I earned my 6th AA. I love that 9th spell slot!!

Your 6 AA's need to be spent in the General (first) category to get the title.
