I looted an intelligent hammer -- Skymaul, Ceremonial hammer from stoneroot falls trash mob.

i have found that as a cleric it is very hard to evolve the weapon and here is why. I ready that everytime you equip the item there is a "wake up " period before the item starts to gain xp. this period starts everytime the item is removed and put back on again. Thus, having a weapon and being a cleric constantly switching to epic 1.0 to click rez's i have had the weapon for about a week now and its only received 2pct 1/3 xp.

I received a quest to get an evolving weapon. The shattered Blade. starting stats range, ac 10, dex 4, sta 7, int7, agi 4, hps 180, ma 160, end 160. svc 10. req lvl 70. slot type 8.

Final result: korgoron, the shattered Blade of Illsalin. range. ac 25, dex 12, sta 15, int/wis 15, ati 12, hps 230, ma 210, end 210. svf, svd, svm 10 each, svc 20, attack 20, regen 2, mana regen 2, spell sheild +2%, accuracy +10, dot shielding +2%, req lvl 70. slot type 8.

First, do the Tomb of Emperor Illsalin. its a solo task i got in the undershore. not sure from off who atm. when you complete that. you receive Vestiges of the Empire.

You need to locate and return the Gemstone of Emperor Illsalin to Illsalin's Tomb; the gemstone of emperor bloodfin; the faceless emperor; Emperor Sandvarrow; Emperor Draygun.

No clues on where to begin your search.

If there is a wake-up period, that is honestly the stupidest thing I have ever heard of... Being a bard, we have to switch out for our instruments ALL THE TIME. Bandolier is our best friend. If we are at a disadvantage for playing our class..... wth?

Someone plase post confirming or denying this?

I am pretty sure there is a wake up on all weapons I have noticed that if I switch weapons alot the skills move up much slower. Kinda like if you use more than one weapon on a mob you will get no skill up for any. but if you stay with one you stand a chance for those skill ups
just my observation it could be flawed.

Read about the "wake up" period in the dod manual that is in my eq computer file i think that was downloaded with the expansion. And i have found that if you switch for a sec and then switch back -- ie. to click a rez -- it says hello to me so think there is a time period before it "falls asleep" so to speak.

Maybe Alla's should add a Field to it's Item Search Page: "Intelligent"

That would be nice. =)
