Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Personally, I really like the default. There are some really good ones that people made though. You can see screenshots at www.EQINTERFACE.com

I personally love Aya. It has everything shown so that as a healer can use the all the information and make decision on what spells to use to support the group. It takes a bit to get used to but worth it.

I use nemesis atm. Aya is good but after trying nemesis there was no going back. Function > looks when it comes to UI imo.

I have one problem though which I need to sort out. I have some mouselag and lag now. I have a feeling it is because of my UI. Need to investigate that.

I have 9 chatwindows and they are all semi transparant.. You all think that makes lag worse?

UIs are a persoal taste Item, I select the UIs that I think are the most functional and paste them into the EQ default Directory after every Patch.

My hotkey window has the 10 hotkeys,8 Bag slots, and all my armor slots in 1 window.

My peronal stats window has endur, pet health, exp, AA exp Bars. Numeric Health, Mana, all Stats and resists.

My Group window has a health bar for each group member and a sperate bar for their pet.

Got these from Eqtoolbox.com

LodiDodi is a good, clean UI. I switched over to it from Vert.

I used to love Aya, but when a patch came and caused the custom ui not to work I couldn't really play. Now I use a mix of custom and default ui components (thanks twiz, you SoB get back in and play! Smiley: tongue).
