You create the Azia and Beza runes in the Condordance of Research, then you combine one of each in the Book of Dark Bindings. But that's only if you are a Necro, if you are another class you need another book.

And how do I get Condordance of Research? I talked to the NPC who should gave it to me, but didn't gave me anything just talked about research etc...what did I wrong? Or wasn't it the right NPC? dont't know where this one was...

You get a Concordance of Research by giving Mrysila at the gypsy camp in North Karana a greater lightstone.

I DO NOT recommend that you take your def necro to the N. Karana camp. Dark elves should go to the dark elf merch. camp in South Ro, where you can hand a greater lightsone to Smith Tv`Ysa and she will give you a Concordance of research. there are write ups about this under the "Evil research" quest on the quest listings for S. Ro. Good luck.

This might save you some time... The Concordance of Research is droppable, and some people turn in their Lightstones to get the Concordance and sell it immediately just because the book sells for more. When I got mine, I noticed quite a few Concordances for sale at the merchants by the NPC who gives the book in SRo. So check those first, and you wont have to worry about farming wisps. Too bad I didn't notice until after killing a million wisps.

yes thankx got the Book now...
Just a little question, what's the best way to train research?
I've now 9 points in research and most times I missed when I tried easy thingys...

best way to train it is to use free level points otherwise takes forever. I personaly recomend buying what spells you can and only research if price outrageous or spell not for sale.

To go to you guildmaster and train is way cheaper in the long run then any other form of gettin skill up and you can go to 200 research off o' him/her. As a intellegence caster you really will have nothin to spend the points on right quick anyway so might as well drop into research.

You can't use trainers to get high skill in any tradeskills anymore. The highest you can go is 21, IIRC. The rest must be done with actual combines.

I've had a dilemma with my mage's research as well. What I've been doing is studying EQTraders.com to find the combine with mostly vendor purchasable pieces.

Once I found that, I then have been vendor farming a lot to find the words that I need to finish the combines. I've managed to collect enough items to attempt 80 or so combines, but that still won't be enough to take me to trivial. My goal is to hit 100 research so I can get my LoY research container from Gunthak. There are some reciepes with this that are completly vendor purchasable Smiley: yippee

You're lucky, my Necro would have loved some vendor purchased Research combines...

IIRC from my studying on EQTraders, there are some vendor purchasable combines for every class, once you get over 100 skill.

I've gotten my necro research up to over 100 mostly by hoarding research components ('Words of' in my case) either through looting or vendor diving. Even spend some time in lower-level areas farming mobs for Words to drop, or looking in certain areas for NPC vendors (the Gnome in the windmill in LoIO is notorious for large amounts fo low-level research items). Ask for research components whenever in group - I always take Words and offer Pages, Runes, etc. to any other casters. Now I have 7 10-slot bags with at least 1 Words in each slot. Go through the spell research lists at EQtraders.com and combine lower level spells until they don't give skillups. You can even sell the resulting spells (to vendor or trader). Also consider getting a Geerlok quill which is a +5% research mod.

Yes, it is.

In short; on another forum here there was mention of how hetero females use avatars of attractive women, but hetero guys never used avatars of attractive men. So I decided to break the trend and brought out my man Matt. (apparently Dream of the Endless isn't considered "attractive", to mortals at least.)
