Morning Everyone,

Finally dinged level 46 with my lovely chanter and decided to hit the stone in POK that leads me to the Plane of Tranquility. Ran around the plane for a bit listening to the "happy" music and talking to every NPC I could find.

A nice little man in a windmill told me how to get into the plane of Innovation but after zoning in and talking to a group, they mentioned that I would be better off starting in a "lower" plane...

My question is:

1.) How does one start adventuring in the planes of power??? Would some kind stranger please explain the Planes in a nice 100word essay!?!?!?

Thanks in advance. Wife is heading to Richmond for the weekend and I am going to have all the free time in the world!!! MUhahahahahahaha.

A good starting point in the Planes is the Plane of Justice. It is one of the "lower" planes and the XP should be pretty good for you there. After a few levels there PoD, PoI and PoN become better options.

Groups are the clue, so you survive and learn. Head to Plane of Justice (big justice scales up on the hill).. click on a dish of the scales. Try to go with someone...

You will be hunting in the entrance area (higher levels will be further in).

After that, Plane of Nightmare and Plane of Justice (zone areas). As you grow older, more will become available by right of level or "planar progression".

Each plane has a God associated with it. If you can be in a raid that kills that god (boss mob), you will then get access to another zone.

Each zone is complex, with its own differing areas, oddity mobs, lore, and quests. You can explore these following the links to the left.

Yeah, just gained access to the Planes myself.

I grinded in PoJ for about an hour and a half and received 150% experience during that time (unfortunately I started school last week, which explains my miniscule number of posts and non-existant playtime: Junior year is a *****).

So I guess I'll go with the consensus that, yes, Plane of Justice is where to go.

P.S. I'd try to find a group as close as possible to the exit so that you have an evac route.

Gratz on access guys, I'll never forget zoning into Plane of Tranquility for the first time.
Clicking on the scales of justice and zoning into Plane of Justice is a moment I will always remember :)

PoI *is* a "lower plane", unless they're also including Fear and Hate...

You just need to find a group heading for PoJ, PoI, PoD or PoN needing a haste/slower, though you might have some trouble at first getting slows to stick.

Here's a nice link that is commonly used as a visual tool for the relative difficulty.

PoP Flow Chart

By entering the Planes from the top of the tree and then following the branches down, each Tier of Planes down the chart gets relatively more difficult, and are usually referred to as Tier 1 and Tier 2, and so on, until you get to the Elemental Planes, and then finally Time.

It also has many links to the quests/kills/flags needed to progress through.
