Shields and 2H weaponsFollow

Is there anyshield that can be used with a 2H blunt weapon? Assistance is greatly appreciated.

That really depends on what you mean by "can be used". When you equip a 2h weapon, you use up both the primary and secondary slots on your character sheet (both hands so to speak, hence why it's called a 2 handed weapon).

Shields typically can be equipped in either the secondary slot, or occasionally the back slot as well. So if you're just asking whether you can equip a shield, it's just a matter of looking at the item. If you can equip it in any slot other then primary/secondary, then you can equip it while holding a 2h weapon. If not, then you can't.

Now, if you mean "can I use a shield in battle to bash with while weilding a 2h weapon", then the answer is no. You may only bash with a shield if it's equipped in the secondary slot. However, there are AA abilities that you get at higher levels that allow you to bash while using a 2h weapon even if you don't have a shield. Also, large races (troll, ogre, barb) get an ability called slam that does the same thing as bash (uses the same skill as well), but uses the shoulder instead of the shield. Those races can use slam regardless of what's equiped in their hands.

Although it is indeed a shield graphic, it is a warrior only piercing weapon. I havent seen this item equipped or used myself, but could be what he's askin about.

Off the top of my head, the Lodi shield can be equipped in the back slot.
