I moved from castersrealm to your site as a subscriber and have been satified, until yesterday.

I count on your site to keep me in tune with what is going on in the Everquest world.

Well, it seems EQ's next expansion started taking Beta Apps on 6 Jan.

Castersrealm's news put this up hrs later and many that uses that sight as there fan site, got in on Beta. Was told in game.

But now its closed, taking no more apps.

I want my Fan site that I support to keep up with news such as this. I have a full time job and my game time is few and far between, but I have beta tested many games and was hoping for this one as well.

I am re-evaluating which Fan Site I will be supporting now.

Not that this answers your actual complaint, but if the GoD beta is anything like the LDoN beta, they'll re-open it a dozen times before it goes live. Near the end, the only people who weren't in LDoN beta were people who never tried to be.

Alot is happening in EQ all the time. It's impossible for 1 website to keep up with everything the second it happens. Most people visit several sites.

Your sig should be The Whiner. Stop giving Geeks a bad name.

The Whiner at 10 years old.

"Wahh Wahh you struck me out again.. gonna take my ball and go home."

The Whiner at 16
" Mommy.. why didn't you wake me up on time.. now I'll be late for school.. sniff sniff."

I'd go on but why bother.

Not that it is any consolation, but the beta sign up period was open and closed so fast you would have blinked and missed it. Trust me, you're not missing out on anything by not being in the beta for GoD.

Thanks for the info gang. All posts useful but one....there is always one.

I will keep checking. I never did get into the LDoN beta as well? Wow, I am a looser!!

Its just with Fan sites going "pay" status, I wish just to stick with one, that is all.

Thanks again

Yeah, there wasn't a prayer you'd get into the beta unless you saw the announcement in EQ and immediately tried signing up. Servers were extremely congested, so a lot of people who even saw it and tried to sign up right away didn't get in.

And like all fan sites, it depends on people like us (you?) posting.

We never claimed to be a news site. We're about game information, not news. For a while we didn't post news at all. Still, we try to post the major stuff and should have caught that one.

Cheers to the Admin post :) To know I was not unheard will keep me
coming. I will try and post any news that I come across on the forums as suggested.

Thanks much
