Kordian Keshalian says to combine this, that and the other in the assembly kit. I put all of the "parts" in there and hit "combine" but it says I can't combine in that type of container - even though "combine" button is on there. Am I doing this wrong?

without knowing exactly what you are putting in the kit hard to say.
However, make sure you are not stacking the items (so if it asks for 2 rat whiskers, its one whisker per slot). Also the mold doesn't go in the assembly kit.
