How is a DE enchanter who worships Innoruk supposed to do the turnin for this spell ?
I farmed all the parts. I high-elf illusioned & invis'd to the new FV outpost. I had a friend pax the surrounding npc's (who were still kos to me uninvis'd, and threatening after collaboration). I then started the turnin, friend was to invis me before I hit "give", but something aggro'd on me. Pax did not wear off. We had pax'd all the surrounding mobs and roamers.
I had tried to illusion; halfling to see if I could sneak, but unlike the illus:barbarian where I could slam, no sneak came up for halfling.
I understand the spell is *not* nodrop (or so I've heard), but have never seen it for sale in the bazaar. And it's not fun to just buy stuff anyway.
I suppose I'll just have to farm the parts again on my friend's toon and have her do the turnin for me, but what about those DE inny following chanters out there didn't have anyone willing to help??? What then?
This spell is just about necessary to do the enchanter epic 1.0. I guess I could spend like a year working on the three factions this lady has, but the other npcs around her aren't necessarily on the same three. I'd have to work on them all! That's just insane.

I did this quest today (01/19/2009), and sent in a correction earlier for the exact location of "Luminare Pasinia". I believe the location was +242, -3230, inside the southern most walled-structure inside the "good" camp (in the FV Zone).

The four items that drop to be turned in are No Trade, but the quest result is tradeable.

I did this quest easily with my 73 Cleric and gave the spell to my 20 Enchanter.

If you don't have the faction/race/whatever to do the turn-ins, get an alt or a friend to do it.

I have the same problem here. Friend suggested charming her to do the hand in once all the mobs are pacified. Sounds risky was hoping some kind person may want to give it a shot and get back to us on the board???
Where now?

So does anyone know how we get the spell now? Or where to turn in items, because of the war the NPC is no longer ther

All of the FV npc's were moved to the old drolvarg fort along the east wall of zone. Luminare Pashinia's new loc is +242, -3230.
Hope this helps someone.

Iksar Illusion

This is the most poorly designed quest I have seen yet. Though the spell is for level 20, its nearly impossible to get it until you're in your high thirties and have some good help. This is because those froggies (though green) agro like crazy with evrything around them. FV is not an easy place to hunt. Additionally, the Nok Shaman powder may or may not be "shaman powder". I have yet to see "nok powder" drop off a Nok shaman, but shaman powder drops all the time. So, I tuned in my items today (all at once) and was told they were not what she was looking for - there-by losing all the items that took me 20 levels to get. Anyway, I know some people completed this quest in 20 mintues with their uber friends or twinked characters, but for the average enchanter out there, this quest simply is not worth doing. Just my opinion. I wish you all luck.

Cast Identify on the Shaman Powder. If it identifies as Powder of Nok, you're good. If not, keep looking. It really isn't that hard. Plus, you get to look like a lizard when you're done :P.

Just about *ALL* of EQ's quests are poorly designed. I usually refuse to do any of the quests in EQ since they are all pretty much lame, but my friend wanted this spell so I helped him.

However, this quest can be done with ANY character of any level that is high enough since the scroll you get in the end is tradable. You also do not have to leave the surrounding area, which is different for EQ quests. Usually EQ has you trolling all over the continents for their quests. This quest is done all within 3 connecting zones.

You are correct in that a level 20 enchanter cannot complete this quest alone. In fact, I wouldn't even take a 20 chanter along, especially in the FV zone as most everything will be red to the chanter with the possible exception of Frogloks.

This is actually a very simple quest. Being that it is an EQ quest, I was surprised at how easy this was.

The Heart of Ice(from Icebone Skeles) and the Tiger Mane(from Sabretooth tigers) are both very easy and common. Drop in LOIO.

The Ton Warrior Totem(from Froglok Ton Warriors in SoNH) was easy. I am assuming these are fairly common, we killed three Ton Warriors and three Totems dropped. Ton Warrios also drop Totem pieces. Totem pieces are no good to this quest. Keep killing Ton Warriors until you get a totem.

Frog Nok Shamans in FV. Nok Shaman Powder is infact just called "shaman powder". This is probably the hardest part of the quest since FV is a higher-mid level zone and all creatures will KOS you. We dropped three Nok Shamans and got three shaman powders.

Me and one other person completed this quest three times. The only danger was FV. The longest part of the quest was collecting the Ton Warrior Totems. Took about 1 hour 15 minutes to get three Ton Warriors to spawn, each dropped a totem.

Turn in the 4 items to Illuminare and get your tradable Iksar Illusion Scroll. When you get it, it is call Vision of Sebilite, not Illusion: Iksar.

My friend tried his new Iksar Illusion with his DE Chanter..He was was able to walk around Sebilis as an iksar...He was still KOS to either the shamans or the necros, cant remember which. But he was fine with the Troopers and Crusaders.

You will get the following 2 negative faction hits when you turn in the pieces for the tradable scroll.

Pirates of Gunthak
Legion of Cabilis

Pirates of Gunthak, IMHO, it no big deal. These mobs are mostly lower level(with the exception of Gornit) and reside in OOT. Legion of Cabilis can be rebuilt by killing Iksar mobs in LOIO.

Good luck to ya all...Great quest, I recommend everyone get this for their enchanter..It's not really needed, but fun to be an iksar(at times). :P

Tree Huggers? Do not betray The Mother's children, for it is she who protects your beloved hometown of Felwithe from the fierce minions of the Crushbone Orcs.
