• Coyotes in Scarwood Reach, Droughtlands, Gloamwood
• Cats in Silverwood, Freemarch, Sanctum, Meridian, Moonshade Highlands
• Foxes in Stonefield, Iron Pine Peak, Shimmersand
• Deer in Freemarch, Silverwood
• Snakes in Droughtlands, Gloamwood, Stillmoor, Shimmersand
• Rats in Silverwood, Freemarch, Stillmoor
• Squirrels in Freemarch, Silverwood, Gloamwood, Stonefield, Scarwood Reach, Moonshade Highlands

Notes

• Fire Squirrels, in Freemarch, do NOT drop tears!''
• Snakes in Shimmersand drop nothing... ever.
• You will encounter many mobs whose name is the same as the species, such as Fox, but there may also be variants on the name such as Stone Shadow Fox. The important thing is that the tooltip says "Critter" and they are level 1.
• There is at least one other Tears-based Achievement, Cry Me a River for 20 Squirrel Tears. There may be more for other critters...
