Hello,
I know this will seem to be an ignorant question to most people, but please induldge me because I know youre kind, and I make up for it with my other knowledge. Some foods have the affect "Attack: x%". Every food that I know of that has the affect "Attack: x%" also has the affect "STR: +y". An increase in Strength by +y itself will increase your Attack Statistic. Does the affect "Attack: x%" increase your Attack Statistic by x%, on top of what the additional strength will increase the Attack Statistic, if that food affect is also present and even though most of the time both food affects are not both present together on a single food, or does it mean what I used to always think it mean, up to this point--"Attack: x%" means that increases your attack speed by x%?. Or, by chance, does "Attack: x%" means that it increases both your Attack Statistic and your Attack Speed by x%.
Please clear this up for me. I always assumed it meant that it increased attack speed only because according to my original "Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XI: The Rise of the Zilart" hint guide, the food affect "Attack: x%" is a somewhat rare food affect, and the food affect "STR: +y" is a very common food affect which increases your Attack Statistic already. Not to mention the fact that, in my own mind at least, whenever Zaldor ate that Roast Mutton, he always seemed to swing that Centurion's Sword, and especially that Deathbringer Greatsword, much faster.
Thank You for Your Tolerance and Your Answer,
Zaldor of Alexander
