Adventurer Appreciation Campaign

From PlayOnline.com:

On May 16, 2007, FINAL FANTASY XI will celebrate its fifth birthday! And to say thanks to all that made it possible, we will be holding the ever-popular Adventurer Appreciation Campaign!

Do you remember...?

Do you remember the first time you stepped into the world of Vana'diel?
The never-ending sky opening up before you?
The sense of pride and accomplishment after completing your very first mission?
The wind whipping through your hair as you rode across vast plains and scorching deserts?
And the companions with whom you shared those memories?

How many tales have been woven?
How many destinies fulfilled?
How many memories etched into the annals of history, like stars, ever lighting the heavens?

On May 16th, 2007, FINAL FANTASY XI enters its fifth year of service.

However, we could not have made it this far without you. It is you who brings life to Vana'diel, and for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

To show our undying gratitude to the adventurers of Vana'diel, we have been working closely with the M.H.M.U. to put together this year's Adventurer Appreciation Campaign. As in previous years, moogles will be stationed in several cities passing out exciting prizes, such as giving adventurers data on their numerous exploits. Hurry over to Bastok, Windurst, or San d'Oria and be one of the first to collect the all-new anniversary ring, or a plethora of never-before seen fireworks designed especially for this year's celebration!

FOUND A WAY TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE GETTING

I found a way to see what you are getting before you decide. Fill your character's inventory completely full of items, except for stackable items the Moogle is giving out, like the Angelwing or the Chocobo Ticket, and then go talk to him. When he asks if you want to wait or get the item now, click to take it now. It will show you what you were going to receive, but since your inventory is full, you don't get the item. You can then decide if you want to take the item or wait. You still have the option as long as you haven't received the item yet.
My 5year mark~

Aside from the new Anniversary Ring, After waiting a time and talking to moogle he still geves out the same items as previous years (ie) Bronze-Silver-Gold Moogle Belts and the same costume belts that turn you into onions and rabbits once every 24hrs. Which item you get is dependant on how long you can hold out in anticipation when he asks you.

Check the name Anniversary Ring. My guess that is since the moogle says not to drop ot cause you will never get another one, Is that, it is most certainly rechargeable. Look at the counters and such below its effects. Blue like all other rechargeable items. I read somewhere that it recharges itself in a years time. So dont drop it and lets all find out. In a year.
?????

So whats the deal? I thought you only get the anniversary ring from the moogle. But then i happen to talk to him again and says there is a second gift or i can wait longer. I then switched to mule to get the Moogle belt, not bad, but what is the gift if i wait longer and if you get the moogle belt can you get more items/gear,if so how long i gotta wait?

Slow BST Levels

I'm planning on using it for some of those slow & tough BST levels (46BST/23WHM) instead of grinding them out for low exp.

Well well well, the Anniversary ring... <Yes, Please>
10 uses, up to 3kxp each use, not rechargable (according to wiki).
Still that's pretty darn awesome. It's pretty much a free 30k. That's like skipped one lvl in the 60's and 3/4 of a lvl in the 70's. Or 3 merits, or one hell of a fast track from 1-10.
The only problem is.... decided when and which job to use it. I could relief myself some of the pain of getting whm fro 27-37, i could finish up thf from 37-45, finish blu and quickly get from 72-75.... so many damn choices.
One thing is for sure, each of my mules will have one.
