I dont know if u guys know. but you cannot transfer your EQ characters to the E2 realm, it was posted by Sony, on Pcgamer issue of june 2002

Just reading through some of the posts here,it seems that most males ( i am one :p ) assume that the models were done by male modellers. Well as far as I know the last time i checked the head modeller was a female and she has final say :p
Game wise..not enough diffrence to make me want to change to EQ2 im afraid. yes cool graphics but they are really just new textures and maybe the odd new model here and there. From what i have seen they will still use SoL pc models and animations. Bleh! I want a games sequel to be WOW is that really the *same* game as the original.As it stands you can still tell its EQ.

I might change my mind in 18 months when they finally launch it, cause you can bet it will be delayed (think simple patch delays and bump it up to a full new *game* :p )

I'm a dedicated EQ player, and i'v been playing it for almost a year now. Looking at these screen shots... its crazy! These guys ARE frightning. I like it. As for the comments about the looks of the female characters, i'm mature and all, but hey. We all like it. Whether we decide to admit it or not. But everyone has their opinions. I can't wait for EQ2 to come out. I'm defintatly buying it. That is if it doesn't cost 20 bucks a month or something >_<

Is EQ2 for playstation 2 or Computer?????

I'd have to say that EQ2 looks great. They are apparently pushing the limits of what current technology can do, and that's great, since they are doing it to set up an atmosphere. Looking at the Undead in Befallen, though, they are getting a bit realistic with it. I cant tell the difference between this and the GameCube Version of Resident Evil, lol. I just think they are getting a little too "Doom and Gloom" on us. In my readings, I have seen that the future of Norrath is bleak, evil is creeping its way over the countryside and taking over whatever it comes in contact with. I tihnk they are leaning a bit too much to the dark side of things and hope they can at least balance it out so the "lighties" can have a chance. On that note, did anyone else find the destroyed Hall of Truth depressing? Mine being a Knight of Truth myself, this is extremely diconcerting, because I plan to carry my career over to EQ2 as well. To summarize, the ammount of detail is great, I just hope they lighten the look, and the tone, of the game up before they ship. My compliments to the 3D modelers and texture artists at VI.

For me even as a female player, there is no difference between "an attractive character" or "an ugly one". I just think EQ II looks much cooler than the original version (although I really enjoy the gameplay of whichever version of EQ). I hope my computer meets the requirement though.

I will play EQ II if and when they have a PvP Diety Alliance server set up. I am not interested in playing on 'Blue' servers.
