Capcom to go into online gaming

Core Magazine reports that Capcom is going into the online gaming market. Capcom is the maker of such titles as Resident Evil, Breath of Fire and Mega Man. Here is the full text of the article: Capcom revealed today that they're working on ten new online titles for the PC market. According to company representatives, Capcom plans to begin testing their new online titles throughout Korea and Southeast Asia later this year. The knowledge acquired through this testing phase will be adapted to the development of network compatible console titles for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. It's currently unknown whether any PC titles will be moved to the console market, however, Capcom has confirmed that they're focusing on the development of RPGs and action titles.
