Current Known Issue for Valentione's Day

From Square-Enix: An issue where players are unable to obtain "Twilight Crystal" from the Valentione's Day's prize has been confirmed. When players select "Twilight Crystal" for the prize, moogle instead hands out an "Aurora Crystal." Please be very careful not to select "Twilight Crystal" if you do not want "Aurora Crystal" as a prize. We apologize for the inconvenience.

4 Years of great service, and a few mistakes. Atleast the servers are better off than WoW.

...and what downtime? I've played everyday (literally) for the past 2 weeks and haven't seen anything wrong

In light of all the recent down time SE has put us through, the least they could do is implement an event that works properly and if not, at the very least, fix it so it does. I'm surprised at SE's response to this known issue. Not even an explanation as to why they're not fixing it. Some people really look forward to doing these events and getting the items they are supposed to get. Shame on you SE.

I love how instead of fixing it they're just like "Yeah, this quest is broken, so if you don't want the wrong prize, don't pick this option."
Why would you WANT a Twilight Crystal?

I mean, the only synths for it are high level...you'd have a guild contract by then anyway.
Why I threw my twilight out last year (wrong craft to use it -- I'm not an Alchemist)

And those cost 800 GP to buy. As opposed to wasting a few minutes on a dumb quest.

Yeah, I'll do the quest.
