Japanese Galaxy Transfer
Starting on February 7th, 2006 (PST) players currently playing on Japanese galaxies will be able to register for a character transfer. This is so that they can transfer their characters from the EAJ galaxies to SOE galaxies.
The web address for this Character Transfer registration page will be made available to players on February 7th. The registration period will end on February 13th .
After February 13th, 2006, no further transfer registrations will be accepted. The following galaxies will be available for players to transfer to:
Players from Katana may transfer to:
- Naritus
- Lowca
- Radiant
Players from Harla may transfer to:
- Scylla
- Kauri
- Europe-FarStar
The galaxy transfer choice can be changed as often as needed until the transfer registration period ends on February 13th, 2006. The actual transfers will begin on February 14th. The following are the details of the transfer:
These are all of the items and character assets that will transfer:
• All inventory on the character, including items in containers on the character.
• All inventory in the bank.
• All credits in both the bank and on the character.
• The character name will transfer unless it is already being used. If another player on the galaxy you are transferring to is already using the name, you will have to rename your character.
• Badges.
• Faction, including faction points.
• Profession Titles.
• The following quest granted items:
• Eta-2 Actis (Jedi Star fighter)
• Belbullab (Grievous Star fighter)
• YT – 2400
• Lava Skiff
• Jet Pack
• AV-21
In addition, the following will be given to EAJ customers only:
• 100,000 credits.
• All /claim items available on the account will be reactivated.
These items will not transfer (may not be complete):
• E-mail.
• All datapad items and any items contained in them.
• Except quest granted items mentioned above.
• All buildings left in the world, including harvesters, and all items contained in them.
• Friend/Ignore lists.
• Any items in the commodities market.
• Any attributes/items/values not mentioned as transferring above.
We recommend doing the following prior to the transfer occurring:
• Put all items in inventory and the bank that you wish to have transfer with you:
• Ship modules
• House items
• Items for sale
• Re-deed all buildings you wish to keep and put the deeds in your inventory or bank.
Please keep the following rules in mind:
• Since an EAJ account can have 4 regular characters on EAJ
servers and also have 8 regular characters on SOE servers, some players
may have more than the 8 character limit.
If an account has
more than 8 characters, then you will have to delete enough characters
so that you can meet the 8 character limit. Otherwise transfers will
occur from Katana, then Harla, until the maximum 8 characters is
met. Jedi opened slots do not count towards this maximum.
• Characters cannot exist both on the galaxy its is transferring from and transferring to. If characters do exist on the galaxy you wish to transfer to, then those characters should be deleted to allow the character transfer to that galaxy. If a galaxy is chosen and characters still exist on that galaxy at the time of transfer, then transfers will occur until the maximum number of characters for that galaxy is hit.
