Roadtrip Photo Contest!

From the Camelot Herald:
Have you always wanted to go to a player gathering, but couldn’t afford the flight? Want the Roundtable Roadtrip to stop in your hometown? Check out this photo contest, and prove that your hometown has the best, the wildest, and the most fun Camelot fans of any city in the USA! We’ll take the January 2006 Roadtrip to the town with the most fans, or at least the craziest fans. Get your picture taken in front of a local landmark, your city’s welcome sign, or at the most hopping local hotspot, and send it to us. The town with the most individual valid entries is in the running for the prize. But as some servers know, it’s not always about quantity – sometimes, quality just means more. And with that in mind, those of you from small towns are definitely not out of the running, but you’ll have to make up for your smaller numbers with bigger stunts. Maybe you could get together and spell out DAOC, marching band style. Maybe you could stand in the shape of the Camelot emblem. Or you could all dress up in costume and stand in your mayor’s office. If it’s rated G and legal, we’ll take a look at any submission you send! Please read the following rules very carefully. Incomplete entries will be disqualified: 1. In order to count as an eligible entry, the sender must include the following information with the photo: Name Account name Mailing address Name of nominated city 2. Send your photo entries to me as attachments (NOT embedded in the message) - sanya AT mythicentertainment DOT com - with the header MY ROADTRIP. Or, snail mail the photo and the requested information to me at 4035 Ridge Top Road, Suite 800, Fairfax, VA 22030. 3. Each entry must come from an active subscriber to be considered and counted. 4. Nominated cities must be located within one of the fifty states of the USA. Sorry, Aussies, I tried. Oh, how I tried. 5. All photos become the property of Mythic Entertainment. 6. There is a limit of one photo per entry. 7. There is a limit of one entry per player. 8. The winning town will be the January stop on the Roundtable Roadtrip, date and exact location TBD. 9. The contest will end September 1, 2005, and the winning town announced no later than October 1. 10. The winning town will either be the town with the most individual submissions OR the most interesting group photo, with the definition of "interesting" being determined by Mythic Entertainment. 11. The final decision is in the hands of Mythic Entertainment. Best of luck to every town, village, and city!
