Character transfer date for the World emigration application starting from Jun. 8, 2005 02:00 (PDT) is now available. To all emigration applicants: Please reconfirm the details under the "Important Reminders" section below, and make sure you remove all your items from the auction house and your Delivery Box. World Emigration Details: -Emigration Schedule Transfer date: Jun. 15, 2005 10:00(PDT) World emigration will coincide with the server maintenance occurring on the same day. Following maintenance, emigrating characters will be transferred to their designated Worlds. *For server maintenance details, please refer to the server maintenance news announcement. [Important Reminders] *We ask that players preparing for emigration take note of the following: -Character names: Certain players may be required to rename their character(s) if the same name already exists in the destination World. There is no way to verify whether or not you will have to change names until emigration. Additionally, you cannot cancel emigration after the deadline. If you are required to change a character's name, the name will be highlighted in yellow at the character selection screen following login. Note that changing names will not destroy your Friend List or any other related data. -Items in Delivery Boxes or on auction Any items that are up for auction or stored in your Delivery Box will be destroyed at the time of emigration. We ask that you remove all items from these locations and store them in your character's inventory, or inside your Mog Safe. -Used linkshells Linkpearls or pearlsacks cannot be transferred over and will be destroyed in the emigration process. However, the linkshell owner will automatically receive a new linkshell upon arrival in the destination World. ------------------------------------------------------------

Hiya just thought that RPI (retail price index) on crystals may give an indication of the inflation rates in different servers..just to give an idea of what the prices are like. Please join me in listing the crystal prices in your servers. Thank u.

someone is offering upwards of 200 million (!) for a kraken club on midgardsormr. Also, snipers and archers are 800k, scorp harness is 6.8 mil, haub is 4.8 mil, emp pin is 1.2 mil, o kote is like 1.5 i think. ridiculous i say!

gilgamesh server has alot of drama and the economy well , lol ya {run away} it gets worse and worse day by day, gilsellers we are just now(last month or so) seeing them camp hnm's and they pretty much got a lock down on many others. although there is alot of good people there are alot more bad ones, the economy prices heres some examples: o kotes- 1.2mil, emp pin- 600-700k, scorp harness- ~6mil, same with v claw, archer ring- 500-550k, sniper same price (go figure), E bow- 14mil, serket ring- 5-7mil, flame ring 1.2-1.8mil, cross couters- 2mil, and my favorite kraken club 30mil only like 5 in history. so other servers my get some people from gilgamesh just a heads up.

Applicable Worlds for emigration to Midgardsormr World:
Shiva, Valefor, Caitsith, Sylph, Ragnarok

Applicable Worlds for emigration to Remora World:
Bahamut, Odin, Siren, Unicorn, Gilgamesh, Asura

Applicable Worlds for emigration to Hades World:
Phoenix, Carbuncle, Fenrir, Ifrit, Diabolos, Fairy

im on bahamut and i was thinking about changing worlds...im just a bit confused

No the servers that you'll be moving to are servers with smaller populations right now. And for the other person Yes youll still have everything you've had on your last server. The only change that would happen is you'd lose your Linkshells and if someone took your name already you'll have to change it. That takes place after the emmigration when you sign into your character your name would be yellow stating you'll have to change your name. And for emmigration you have to find the guy in Ru Lude Gardens I forgot his name though. Hope this helps you guys.

Well I got 2 questions:
How can I get one of my characters from Remora to Siren server? I dont know how this Emigration thing works...
...and...
...Will i still have all items and everything i have on my character when i switch worlds?

Our Eco is sooo jacked up.. Ochiudos cost 1.2mil Peacock charms went from 30mil to 7mil to 25mil Kraken costs 30mil-60mil i think dont remember.. but dang everything is so screwy there right now we probably got the worst economy out of everyone our GB IV costs 1mil I hope this emmigration out of Unicorn clears up some problems. And about new servers being made yea I read somewhere about new servers getting created just dont remember where.. sorry

I am on Siren Server. I am considering moving on to Remora Server, but, first I have some questions: Are there many people there in their 30-50s? It'd be very sad for me to move over to Remora, and find out it's even more difficult to find any parties at all. I mean, in Siren, you are lucky if you find a level 30-50 party at all. Most of the time, I feel like the server has concentrated its population in the high 60s and 70s.

I'm on Remora and I wanna move one of my characters to Siren lol...
but to tell you the truth, there is a good number of lv30-50 but it will always be hard to find pty at those level due to people changing jobs and such...If you do decide to switch worlds, send me a /tell and ill help you out...

Im on midgard, we have the most f'ed up economy of any server, and this is just going to make it worse.

I wanted to move off of Midgard, but I can't, that isn't fair.

People that are thinking of coming to Midgardsormr: Be prepared to see prices like you wouldn't believe. When I see posted prices of other servers I have yet to see one as consistantly high as ours... But who knows, I welcome the change because it may lower the prices. Although if my server is underpopulated I would hate to see the other servers! Leveling spots 60+ have been few and far between due to crowdedness.

So if you're the leader of a linkshell and move, you get a new, unopened one.

Do the people on your old server keep their pearl/sack? Or are they all broken?

That'd suck *** if the leader of a large shell left and the rest of the shell got screwed.

For reasons like this, or a leader of a shell leaving or for some other reason, I believe that SE needs to add a /lschangeleader or something command. It can't be that hard of a programming function.

I am on Asura and I would love to move servers....but i have some questions... Do I keep all my levels? all my gear? my rank, my money? or am i starting froms scratch again? help me out please, i don't want to move over and lose everything

you get to keep all your lvls, skills, etc... all gear or items you wish to keep must be in storage, mog safe, or in your bag... if you have anything in the auction house or in your delivery box at the time of emmigration(June 15th, 1pm est), it will be gone...

i'm also pretty sure that if someone has your character name on the server already you'll get to rename yours, but i'm not sure how or when that happens...

And no, you don't keep all your stuff, i just stole them!

You can't move from Siren to Asura. Only emigration available for Siren is to Remora.

yea.... >.>; this emigration thing is a bad idea. in fact a person named Blackberserker has stolen a kraken club from an HNMls on phoenix & no one is able to get in touch with him, funny thing cause he tried to take a thief knife i have, but i donâ€˜t lend s**t out like that, and itâ€˜s not mine to lend anyway, but he was so determined to get it from me. when i brought up the fact that he doesnâ€˜t even have thf leveled that high, he came up with some stupid a** excuse and i was likeâ€¦. >.> â€œleave me the f**k aloneâ€ . theres no doubt in my mind that he's going to change severs, if you see that name on your sever be aware.

I'm on Hades... economy sucks...but it sucks everywhere. I just picked my craft, farming spots, I learnt to play around it... And next week... everything is going to flip over... Stuff that was worth a ton is gonna be worth nothing, stuff that was worth nothing is going to inflate to hell and beyond...

Maybe not, but it WILL have repercutions on the economy... I'm going to see how it goes. All around, I'm pretty upset about this.

That being said...word of warnings to those considering migration. Even if you do research on your new home... do realise that everything is going to flip over after the migration... if you come here to join friends, thats good...if you want a smaller server...well, soon it won't be any smaller... and if you want a better economy...soon it won't be better...

We're screwed =/

yes your economy may be affected and all, but i would guess that the people who are switching servers already realise the "value" of many items, so i cant imagine a radical change. Though i'm probably wrong.

As for emigration, i see it as a positive. a new way to inject people into your server who are already around the same levels as you. I look forward to holiday time because the servers are busier, and there are more ppl to party with. I would hope that emigration would have a similar effect.
