hello me again im still thinking that anyone who downloaded the small files are probably the ones having the most proba if thats not the case then plzzz explain another yes i know everyone is having the problam but still and i know that everyone that plays this game comes to this sight so if you did download the file say so im calling company at 9:00 am and im hoping more info will be in on this buy then so i can explain to them about this small download and if that is the problam

hello a couple of questions. first did anyone log out before update?? and when they tried to log back in before update did they have a small like 15 itam file to load?? well i did and the prob started right after that im not sure what the file was didnt think about it but if anyone had the same thing plzzz post something so i can tell if thats part of the problam

I downlaoded the same small file before update. I was able to go in an update but now i cant connect..

I've been trying to update for 6hrs now and still nothing!!!!! SE better get there s$%^ together and atleast post something.

I am a windows version user of FFXI my husband is on ps2 and is online playing as of last night but I still get the error message network busy he can log out and relog in with no effects what so ever and we have the same network configuration. IS THERE AN ISSUE WITH JUST PC USERS?

It says 2005 Summerfest, but clearly you mean 2004.

Because it's not summer in 2005 for one, and for two, it's the 2004 event.

I was curious how long it normally takes for a Fashion Shot to get put up? I sent in one for the Buzzard Tuck on March 31st and then you had that downtime for awhile where you lost most of the pictures, I was wondering if I should re-submit it or not.

ick. 1 hour of "Retry" after it took me 30 minutes to log in. I'm just going to wake up at 2AM and download the fucking update. There went my day of playing FFXI.

Yep, 3AM now. half an hour left

Is it just me or could the updates be handled in a better manner than just erroring out? It sure would be nice to be able to set the program up to download the update, and it would do it as available, as opposed to the current solution of "just try again later" /sigh

It's not the Hackers people. They put an update in during NA Prime Time. The download servers are all backed up from us NA people, and then we hit JP prime time clogging the servers even more.

Square Enix released a bulletin about it here.

well if that so .. then it's an "Network Problem"
maybe theres alot of pressure on it..
busy network try later.. that's what we all get..
so i better sleep and update it tomorrow.

Hi there
i noticed that were an update for FFxi when i tried to login...
then the comment that shows and moves up "Cannot play game" or something like this
but the "Play" button changed to "Check update" or something like this,
i clicked on that button and it starts to prepare , download and install ..
but when the download reaches 70% it D/c and shows an error messege (red one)
tried to "Retry" and no use
reloged from Playonline and went to FFxi and the "Play" button has returned and clicked on it and starts to prepare .. BUT the problem is i can't update .. always shows the error messege (Lose connection) i checked all my cables .. theres nothing wrong with them ..
is this problem with me only ?! or with all the players.!?
please if someone know how to repair this .. post an comment
