3 Alb TL Reports
3 more Team Leader Reports have surfaced, only 18 more or so to go:
Armsman team leader Mors posted the "Armsman TL Report v1.70 July 2004" on his Meatshield.com forums. Friar team leader, Arow, posted the v1.62 "Friar TL Report v1.70 (July 2004)" on The Drunken Friar forums. Kallisti, Minstrel team lead, posted the final "Minstrel TL report, 1.70 July 2004" over on the Bards of Camelot forums.
- Nothing has changed since the last report. Armsman remain a highly played class with very passionate players. However there are still a few things that remain to be addressed. NF has added a new dynamic to RvR that has taken some of the role of the heavy tank out of the game. This is due to siege warfare and being out of harms way most of the time. Classes with range do most of the playing and we have been discussing these ideas over the last few weeks.
- Rejuvenation :
- Friars can not keep people alive effectively in RvR, even if they train heavily in this line. All secondary healers are faced with the same problems that main healing classes had before the introduction of the spread heal.
- The Friar Rejuvenation line does not currently synchronize well with the Staff line. It is very difficult to fight in the front lines as a fighter and heal at the same time.
- Stealth:
Safe Fall - with the increased height of the walls in NF, Safe Fall is no longer effective at protecting you against massive falling damage. Could the height it protects you against be increased?
Slash:
Thrust: With the removal of the Dodger Realm ability, Minstrels evade a lot less than they used to so the evade reactionary styles are much less useful.
Similarly, with the removal of access to Mastery of Blocking from Minstrels, blocking reactionary styles are also much more difficult to use.
