Yesterday's community notice was a congratulations to the Wolf's Dragoons clan for being the first clan to take ownership of a castle. The event was quite the spectacle and we'll be having a feature on sieges at Allakhazam in the next day or two so look for it! Full text of the notice follows: Wednesday June 16 Wolf’s Dragoons first clan ever to take a castle! Wolf's Dragoons became the first clan in the North American Lineage II service to take ownership of a castle! They conquered the defenders of Gludio Castle. The siege was intense and chaotic, seeming destined for defeat. However, the tide suddenly turned when Dwarven Warsmiths summoned a legion of Siege Golems to smash down the front doors. Once the outer doors fell, all of the attackers rushed into the inner area, only to meet a shower of arrows. Pushed back by a formation of castle guards, the resolute attackers eventually overcame these obstacles and penetrated the remaining defenses. Once inside the castle, the clans encountered even more powerful enemies inside the castle, such as the Sorceress, Knight and Priest. Once they reached the throne room, the clan leaders were finally able to cast a spell on the Holy Relic to take possession of the castle. The time was quickly ending as the attackers defended their clan leaders who attempted to complete the spell. After many desperate attempts against waves of guards, moment arrived! The Wolf's Dragoons cast the spell and all other clans and witnesses were immediately teleported from the castle. With time running out, there was no way for the rest of the clans to mount a counter-attack to reclaim the castle. Wolf's Dragoons were declared the victors! Wolf's Dragoons would like to thank all the clans that participated and will be defending the castle with their allies on Thursday, June 17 at 6:00pm PDT.
