I hope to see you in the beta! Sign up now, tomorrow may be too late. Headlines! -------------------- - You now have the ability to remove your own surname! - All characters will regen HP faster when sitting! - /rewind is back and ready for action! Surnames -------------------- You can now use the /surname command to remove your own surname and add a new one. Please remember to read the naming policy as listed on EQlive.station.sony.com as it applies to both first names and surnames. You will still need to ask for CS assistance if you wish to have a name with double capitals or special characters. Please note that this command can only be used to remove or change your surname once per week. HP Regen --------------------- - All characters should now regenerate HP faster when sitting. The longer you sit, the faster you regenerate! - You will not receive increased regen while under the effects of a DOT or while feigned. - You can now bandage yourself up to 70% of your HP. Folks with the appropriate AA abilities can bandage above 70%. - You can now bandage while sitting. /rewind ---------------------- /rewind is back and should help if you find yourself stuck. This is not an automatic rewind, you will have to execute the command. We are continuing to work on other collision issues and hope to no longer need /rewind in the near future. This command is only able to be used once every 30 seconds, and in order to make use of it, your character will need to be stationary for at least 30 seconds.

Does anyone know how much the hp regen has been increased either by percent or actual hp regen amount (ex. +3, etc)? Just curious.

I snooped around a bit and answered my own question...figured I would share what others have said.

The patch said: "All characters should now regenerate HP faster when sitting. The longer you sit, the faster you regenerate!"

The first minute sitting you are regenning 4 hps less than you used to and the second minute you are regenning 4 more than you used to. So just sitting for less than a minute will not help you.
new expansion

I'm happy for the people this patch helps, don't get me wrong.

But now that everyone can bind wounds up to 70%, what was the point of my working up my bind wounds skill on my monk to over 200? Except for doing more recovery per bandage, now everyone can bind up to the same amount as he does...

Before I waste time spending AA's improving it further, are they gonna turn around and make it 100% for everyone too? Kinda would like to know, cause it seems I already wasted time...

Reminds me of that Alannis Morriset song, where she talks about getting a free ride, after they already paid.

I felt the same way when they gave everybody 200 in Sense Heading. Every one of my characters slowly worked their way to mastery in Sense Heading, then BOOM everyone gets it for free.

Sadly, most people still haven't figured out how to read LOCs - which, when paired with perfect Sense Heading, can tell you exactly where anything or anybody is.

Yeah. I too thought it was rather frusterating that all got their Sence Heading set at 200. I personally felt that the levels should have remained where they were and the map window worked off of that skill. That way there would be another incentive to get your Sence Heading ckill level up.

Now maybe its just me... but when I read the patch notes... I see two sentences... "You can now bandage yourself up to 70% of your HP. Folks with the appropriate AA abilities can bandage above 70%"

Now, from how that seems to read, the people that used AA to get TO 70% will now be able to have the AA add to that 70% so that you can bandage over 70%.

The whole ***** session is lame when you actually read it and know that the ones who spent AA's will STILL get a bonus from the others that don't!

Read before ya *****!

Actually I believe that what Sir Jakkahn was saying concerning the AA abilities was that he would like to know if they will eventually allow everyone to bandage to 100%, because if they do that and he puts AA points into the skill then the AA points would have been wasted. He stated that he worked his SKILL up to 200 which allowed classes such as warriors and monks to bandage to 70% without using AA points.

That part aside, the new hp regeneration rate is great IMHO. I took my warrior out to find out if I could bind above 70% with his skill at 210 (he couldn't), and also to test out the new regeneration rate. After allowing mobs to beat me down to around 30% health I sat down and watched my HP regen at an incredible rate. After about 5 minutes of sitting I was regenning for around 50 hp per tick!!

That would be correct. My monk is parked at 52, levelwise, on Tunare. This is so I can do Nagafen and Vox raids. On Tunare, they have a group of players who do these raids when the dragons are up, and award the loot based on seniority. (www.tunareowd.com) Anyhow, I want the Cloak of Flames, so thats my goal.

While parked at 52, I am diverting my xp to AA's. After doing the sense heading thing on other characters, (and seeing it later given for free), then building up bind wounds on my warrior and monk, (and again, seeing it given away for free)... I want to be a little more secure that my future efforts, (putting in the AA's to improve my bind wound cap to 100%), wont be given away for free.

I'd settle for getting back the AA points, if that happened. It would be nice if I could reassign skill points earned from the other two freebie skills too... It really took a lot of lava dips and stacks of bandaids to pop that skill, not something that happened quickly either.

That being said, I do like the other aspects they put in, such as being able to bind while Feign Death, and sitting.
Wow

Assuming you aren't playing a berserker and would have liked to have some of the AAs you paid for ;-D

(I'm not playing a Berserker any more, I just feel their pain)
