Mighty No. 9 Begins a New Campaign

Keiji Inafune announces a new campaign for Mighty No. 9 which promises to bring additional features to the game.

The upcoming Comcept title and successor to the Megaman franchise, Mighty No. 9, has been skyrocketing from the support of its fans since the debut of its Kickstarter Campaign in August of last year. After having the project become fully funded as of October 1st 2013 and with over $3.8 million pledged, Keiji Inafune, Lead Producer on Mighty No. 9, has announced a new campaign for the project.

This new fundraising campaign is completely separate from the original Kickstarter and is to be funded via PayPal on the game's official site. This new campaign primarily serves to add even more features to the title, with the first goal being implementing English Voiceovers.

It's worth noting that the Mighty No. 9 team has stated that any new funding will not be going toward existing game content, but instead toward bonus content that will be implemented into the title. While they are reaching out to Kickstarter backers as well, this is also to allow those who may have missed the Kickstarter Campaign to still help support the game with clear goals in mind.

"During the Kickstarter you guys have made our dream game possible by blowing through stretch goal after stretch goal--and with this new funding campaign we can do even more!"

For more information on this new Mighty No. 9 Campaign, or to pre-order the game, head on over to the game's official website. As always, keep it locked to ZAM for additional news and updates surrounding this re-imagined "Blue Bomber".

Good Hunting!
