Defiance is starting to ramp up towards launch with new Xbox Avatar items.

Here at ZAM we focus on PC gaming, but in this case, the latest additions to the Xbox store reveal new glimpses for an anticipated title for the PC. Yesterday, Xbox 360 Avatar items were added to the Xbox Live Marketplace themed around the upcoming MMO and TV Show Defiance.

The smart new avatar items show that the game is starting to ramp up for its release in less than half a year. Just yesterday our own Gareth "Gazimoff" Harmer released a hands-on preview for the game and now there are Defiance themed items for sale.

Defiance is set to be released in April 2013 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 platforms just in time for the launch of the TV show of the same name on the SyFy television network. As Gazimoff reported yesterday, there will be a beta test sometime early next year.
