Mass Effect 3 is getting another round of downloadable content November 27th, dubbed Omega, and Eurogamer has talked with Mike Gamble, ME3 producer about some of the early details. 

The name is no coincidence - it will revolve around Aria T'loak, ruler of seedy underworld Omega, joining with Shepard to evict Cerberus' control over her former throne, which she lost between games. General Petrovsky, a Cerberus soldier, was the one who took over the station for the Illusive Man in the comic book Mass Effect 3: Invasion. He will return, and - this made my ears perk up - female turians will be shown. Which is welcome, as Eve was the first female krogan we'd seen in the whole franchise.

Initially, helping Aria - voiced by Carrie-Anne Moss, AKA Trinity from The Matrix - was to be a quest in ME3, but it was cut down early on and instead planned for later DLC.
