Voidwatch and Fishing Adjustments

Revisions to Voidwatch and the fishing system for Final Fantasy XI have been announced, allowing for a more streamlined experience for those players that take part in it actively. The cutscene when a player enters the Provenance area from Walk of Echoes will now be skippable after the first time through, and players will soon be able to collect all other items from a Riftworn Pyxis if they use the "Obtain All" option, even if there's a rare item in the treasure pool they already possess.

For fishing enthusiasts, a new upper limit for framerates for fishing animations will be added to lower the gap experienced by players on different consoles.
