Instant Adventures Come to Rift

Trion Worlds announces Instant Adventure, a new feature for Rift that puts the player in the action with a single click

Today, Trion Worlds has introduced a brand new feature for the popular MMO Rift, to be released with the game’s next Update. Described as ‘Open-world action on demand,’ Instant Adventure will allow players to instantly enter group quests with the click of a single button.  Ascended between levels 45-50 will be able to enter or leave the action in progress without worrying about disrupting the game for other players. The instance scales as players come and go, increasing in scope and difficulty to match the proficiency of the group.

If the idea of finding a good mix of players to party up with, talking to an NPC with an appropriate quest, waiting for world events, or queuing up for the next available event seems like an uphill climb, Instant Adventure will be a godsend. The feature is designed to streamline the entire process into a single click. I can literally do that while eating a bag of Doritos; and in the end, isn’t that what gaming is all about? While much of Rift's appeal lies in its deep story progression, this feature is aimed as a response to players looking for some quick excitement in small, consumable doses.

Instant Adventure launched today at noon with Rift Patch 1.6.1, and you can contribute to ZAM's guide-in-progress here:  Instant Adventure Guide at ZAM Rift.
