Master Ability Madness!

More MA information on the Herald:
Got some more documentation for you, and a mini-QA for you that answers many common questions: http://www.camelotherald.com/toa/ Q. What's the intent behind these Master Abilities? How do you intend them to impact RVR? A. These abilities will likely have a significant impact on how people RvR. However, they were designed as a whole to focus on helping in larger scale Realm on Realm battles, as opposed to 1 on 1 or even 8 on 8.
Q: Some of these abilities are rumored to be very strong. A: Perhaps - but every ability has been designed with limitations and counters. Q. How do I get Master Abilities, and how many of them are there? A. Upon successful completion of each Atlantis Trial, characters will be awarded a Master Level Ability gift in reward for the trial completion. There are 8 different Master Level tracks, each having one ability per trial for a total of 9. This makes a total of 72 new abilities. Q. Will I be able to pick and choose from those 72 like I can with RAs, or will these work like baseline spells where your class will get a preset ability when you finish each trial? A. Each class will have two Master Level tracks to choose from. This choice will be made when they complete the first trial. Once that choice is made, they will automatically be awarded the abilities in that track when they complete the trial. Q. I've heard that these abilities are PvE only from some people, but then others are saying they are RvR only, which is it? A. Neither. MAs are primarily designed to be used in RvR. Some of them will only be usable on "realm enemies" meaning enemy players, enemy guards, enemy summoned pets, enemy charmed pets, etc, but not on NPC monsters. Others will be usable in both PvE and RvR. Q. Mythic has said that some Master Abilities will help out my realm mates, not just the players in my group. What do you mean by that? A. The bonuses don't exclude group mates. But the way it works is that it will affect your realm mates within a specific range. There is also a limit on many of these abilities in terms of how many people can be affected. This means that in larger scale battles where more than this limit are within the radius, then those that receive the benefit will be chosen randomly. This is very different from how group based spells work currently in the game.
