Is Star Wars: The Old Republic scheduled to launch in September? According to MCV, "development sources" have targeted that month for the worldwide release of the game. This is currently only a rumor, so don't mark it on your calendar just yet.

Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello and former Community Manager Sean Dahlberg said a year ago that BioWare was targeting a spring 2011 release for the game. EA CFO Eric Brown stated last month that the MMO should launch sometime in the company's 2012 fiscal year, which begins in April 2011.

September does fall in Brown's release window, so we'll just have to wait and see when players will actually get their hands on Star Wars: The Old Republic.
