Trion Worlds CCO and Rift Executive Producer Scott Hartsman has written a letter to the game's community discussing the second closed beta event and looking ahead toward the third beta event. The bulk of the letter focuses on Trion's first truly massive in-game event that was held during closed beta #2 and included 573 level 8-20 Guardian players, dozens of rifts, invasions, bosses, and gameplay objectives. Hartsman promised that this is just a preview of more in-game events, both large and small, that Trion has planned for players.

As far as the third closed beta event is concerned, "expect to see all of the souls available to choose from the outset, more souls available earlier in the experience, and more total points to spend."
