Aion has begun it's holiday festivities with the start of Solorius, the traditional Atreian midwinter festival. Going on now until January 5, 2011, players will have plenty of time to join in on the holiday fun! The event staff have plenty of tasty goodies to go around, including dyes, candy, and the ever popular silly hats.  All you have to do to get them is give them a helping hand tracking down the Solorius socks and making sure their volunteers get rewarded.

Adding to the festivities will be the start of the New Year Event. From December 22 - January 12, ring in the Year of the Ribbit with a feast fit for an Empyrean Lord! The monsters have gotten into the banquet supplies, and it’s up to you to retrieve them. You can feast on them yourself or you can trade them in to one of the event staff who are trying to put together lunch boxes to feed the needy. If you choose this path, you will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.
