The End of the World (of Warcraft)

The Elemental Invasion brings about the end in small, bite-sized, chunks.

Well, last night the fourth stage of the Elemental Invasion began.  Let's take a quick look at how this all started.

A few weeks ago, some of you might have noticed a new quest giver in your respective main cities. The quests were small, mostly just running around and clicking. They stayed in the starter areas, and had some lore leading up to where we are now.

First we were investigating cultists. Joining their ranks, earning their trust and taking orders from the leader, Cho'gall himself. Finally, after uncovering their plan to use elementals, we thwarted them.

Then we had to alert our leaders. But it was more a clever ruse to get us to see Thrall handing over the reins of the Warchief, to Garrosh.

All across Azeroth, and Outlands, there were reports of elemental rifts forming, with us to close them. They were level appropriate for the zone, so everyone could join the fun.
