Live Event - The Infernal Auction!

The live auction event is scheduled to start this Thursday on the Glamorgan server. Be sure to check out below what is up for bid, and how you can place your bid for some of these sweet items:

Following the success of local merchants in Mularn, Magmell and Cotswold, Leaders of the Merchants consortium and the realm's quarter masters have gathered a collection of powerful items to put up for auction. On your server, for one night only, the Infernal Auction will be live...and the competition fierce!

Auctions will be held in Mularn, Magmell and Cotswald (Mordred's and Gaheris' auctions will be held in Camelot town square). The time and dates for the auctions are listed below. Players are asked to arrive early to get the best seating and be prepared to out bid one another. Please read and remember the rules found below, additionally we have provided a list of items to be auctioned off.

Timeline

Glamorgan:  Thursday, August 19th @ 8:00PM CET, 8:00PM EDT & 8:00PM PST
Ywain: Friday, August 20th @ 8:00PM CET, 8:00PM EDT & 8:00PM PST
Mordred and Gaheris: Monday, August 23rd @ 8:00PM CET, 8:00PM EDT & 8:00PM PST

Rules

The event will start promptly; players may come and go as they please.

  1. When the auction begins players are asked to remain silent until it is time to bid.
  2. There are 8 different items being auctioned. There are 10 of each individual item (80 items in total).
  3. A description and delve of an item will be given prior to the auction of the ten individual copies.
  4. Bidding will go in three rounds.
  5. Bidding will begin when a Developer states: "Bidding is now open".
  6. Players will then be allowed to give their opening bid. Only ONE BID per player, per round. The bid round lasts 1 minute.
  7. 15, 10, and 5 second warnings will be given before the close of the bidding round.
  8. The developer will close bidding by saying "Bidding round (1st, 2nd, final) is now closed".
  9. The top 10 bids at the end of the final round will be considered winners.
  10. If there is a tie, the tied players will then have a sudden death silent auction.
  11. Sudden death is in one round, the players involved will send the developer another bid. It's minimum is the bid they are tied for. The highest bid wins.
  12.  If there is still a tie after a sudden death round. A random /1000 will be used to determine the winner.
  13. Winners will be given an item called a Proxy Card. Proxy cards can be turned in to the Realms Quartermaster for their item. A quest will be given to the player if there is a choice between different versions of the item. The quest will allow the player to pick which version of the item they want.
  14. ML10 Weapon Proxy Cards are to be held until the end of the auction, where players will then line up to speak with the developer to collect the version of ML10 weapon they want.
  15. Minimum bid per item: 100G
  16. Maximum bid per item: 200 Platinum. If a bid surpasses 200 platinum, the following alternative currencies may be used, and have the following values:
    • Caer Souls, Glacier Ice, Galladoria Root:  500 Gold
    • Dragon scales: 3 Gold
    • DF Diamond seals: 2 Gold
    • Atlantean glass: 2 Gol
