Star Wars: The Old Republic's new Jedi class specializations let you customize your Jedi experience to your own personality.

The Star Wars: The Old Republic updates trickle in slowly, but sometimes you get a nice bombshell. Like today, we got the first peek at two new Jedi Knight class specializations: The Jedi Knight Guardian and the Jedi Knight Sentinel.

The Jedi Knight Guardian, like his name implies, is good at guarding. Like his description says, his "perfect concentration and use of the force allows smooth movement, even in heavy armor, making the Guardian a hard target to take down." The Jedi Knight Guardian also has the ability to rally his allies. We're thinking that if you like the idea of the Jedi who is an unkillable, blaster bolt deflecting leader, this is probably the specialization you're going to want to go with.

The other option is the Jedi Knight Sentinel who uses "two Lightsabres simultaneously to create an intricate web of damage that is almost impossible to evade." This is the guy who kicks butt and takes names, and you're probably going to want to pick this specialization if your Jedi daydreams involve more of you fighting an army of droids by yourself and less of you talking about trade laws with the Jedi council.
