I assume they will have to convert the characters on the live server to the new format when it goes live, so I am surprised to hear they are wiping PTS. Did I miss news about a "copy to test" function? Cuz if there is not, how do they expect testers to bang on the new content if there is a wipe?
Aion's Assault on Balaurea Expansion to hit PTS
On August 18th, 2010, Assault on Balaruea will be available on Aion's Public Test Servers!
Just one more week, everybody! The Aion Team has just announced that their North American Public Test Server will be launching with Aion's new expansion, Assault on Balaruea, on August 18th, 2010. Sadly, this also means that the PTS database will need to be reset completely as part of the transition, but that may be a small price to pay for the chance to check out Aion's highly anticipated expansion a few weeks before their official launch on September 7th, 2010! So be sure that you're ready to begin your Assault on Balaruea on August 18th, because it's coming sooner than you think!
