World of TERA interviews BrotherMagneto

Yet another interview of an En Masse employee! Some new info, not that much though. Hopefully upcoming interviews will be a little more revealing!

Quite a few vague answers in this one, I would have personally liked to see more specific, detailed answers...oh well.

"Q: Previously, you answered a question about the declaration system and whether or not it would apply to PVP servers. The answer was it will be examined in the FGTs and upcoming betas. A lot of forum users who support full PVP servers are worried about this declaration system limiting them. Do you have any more information on whether or not the declaration system is going to be applied on PVP servers?

A: The declaration system is still under development. I can’t share anything new at this time, because we haven’t finalized it yet. Sorry!

Q: What kind of risks / rewards are going to be associated with PVP?

A: Political power, fame, money, treasures, land. All the good things in life."

and the new skill system we’ve talked about has been implemented for future testing.

This is what I'm most excited about. Rumor has it that it will be more like Diablo style instead of a typical skill tree. I wonder if it's for additional skills on top of the already established ones, adding to those already existing, or both. It would be nice to specialize in certain skills which suit your play style and team position and also gain certain ones by choice.

It would also add a the dynamic where you have to watch people play and figure it out, perhaps while fighting, paying attention to certain things and adjusting accordingly. Would make combat more involved.

PvP rewards

Hm, "political power, fame, money, treasures, and land". The two ones that are very interesting to me are treasures and land. Now, it could just be that when they said "treasures", it was PR marketing - but perhaps they are referring to in-game things such as mounts or pets.

I assume it's (also assuming that an "it" exists) all aesthetic, since En Masse said that they will be having the same sets used in both PvP and PvE. As for land, that really doesn't need explaining, but it would be nice to know whether they just mean a small player house or something else.
