Aion's Eye on the Community

More 1.9 hype in this week's Eye on the Community and... the Aion Team talks about addressing the Fenrir / Miragent pants quest! Thank God!

Weeee're almost on top of the official release of patch 1.9, so this week's Eye on the Community is, understandably, focused on the future of Aion. With the Aion Podcast talking about some of the new additions in 1.9, and the awesome Fall expansion, Assault on Balaurea announced, the Aion team is clearly showing players that this is just the beginning of some pretty neat stuff.

In addition to discussing some of the upcoming content for Aion, the team also decided to address that big issue everyone was having with the Fenrir / Miragent pants quest line (really it's the entire Fenrir / Miragent quest line in general, if you ask me...), most notably being the problem with crafting the ultra-expensive Hot Heart of Magic. Well, players can rejoice, as the Aion team notes that with the 1.9 update, the number of Boiling Balaur Blood Stains required will be reduced to 100, as opposed to 125, and this is in addition to the fact that these Blood Stains will drop off of normal and elite mobs in the level range of 43-50! So not only should prices for these Blood Stains drop, but players will find that they will need less to make a crafting attempt. Finally, for those of you with horrendous luck (0/7 on my expert crafting quest...), the team has slyly noted that "if you've failed to crit your Heart five times, you can talk to Moorinerk in Pandaemonium or Koruchinerk in Sanctum." I have no idea what that entails, but maybe you unlucky ones should go find out!
