Aion releases translated Korean Patch 2.0 Notes

Patch 2.0 will see the introduction of the Balaur homeland, Balaurea, a level cap increase to 55, six new instances, functional pets, new skills and stigmas and much more!

Just when you thought things couldn't get better with the Aion Team opening up their public test servers with accelerated rates and Patch 1.9 looming in the doorway, NCsoft decides to drop this massive content bomb on their Korean Test Servers. Dubbed patch 2.0, this content explosion might as well be a mini-expansion! In particular, Patch 2.0 will feature a raised level cap (55), in addition to the introduction of the Balaur homeland, Balaurea (terrible names aside, this sounds pretty cool). In Balaurea, the Aion Team also plans to introduce some new environmental features, called windstreams, updrafts and geysers, where players can hop inside (or in the case of updrafts and geysers, hop on) to get a big flying speed boost to where they're going; windstreams will even carry you there!

In addition to this new land, the Aion Team will be introducing an incredible six new instances, including a shiny solo instance for players who just don't like hanging out with five other strangers. As well, dozens of new skills and stigmas have been added in to accomodate for the updated level cap, and players should definitely take a peek at the translated patch notes to get an idea of how their character will develop in the future. In reality, there's simply too much on these translated patch notes to communicate to you, and even though I've already covered a few changes, trust me when I say that there are a lot of things coming to Aion in Patch 2.0! Just head on over to the Official Aion Website to check out these patch notes, although do realize that everything is subject to change before going live in North America and Europe!
