Mentalist & Bonedancer TL Reports

Mentalist team lead, Kwea, posted the 1.64 "Mentalist Class Team Leader Report, August 2003" over on the My Pet Mage: Mentalist Edition forums.
The Mentalist class has come a long way since the release of DAoC. In the game's current state, the Mana specialization is the most popular, due to it being more group oriented and providing a strong balance between offensive and defensive capabilities. The Light specialization is not too far behind, due to its popularity as the most offensive Mentalist specialization. The Mind Mastery specialization however, is the least popular Mentalist specialization. Although a great secondary specialization, complimenting both the Light and Mana specializations nicely, the Mind Mastery specialization is one of the most underplayed primary specializations for non-SI cloth casters. The cause is that the Mind Mastery specialization is severely lacking in both PvE and RvR.
Sheena iliachenvaar, Bonedancer team leader, posted the "Bonedancer TL Report v 1.64" on the Bonedancers of Bogdar forums.
Since 1.62, Bonedancers have seen a few of their minor bugs fixed but the issue of bugs, especially pet AI ones, is still the main problem faced by this class. Other significant issues center around power costs, lack of group attractiveness and clearly defined RvR role as well as the issue of magic resists shared by all casters but specifically related to popular cold, matter and body magic resists.
