While the name of the patch is rather bizarre, you can't really fault the enthusiasm behind it, as the First Planet Company, the developers and publishers of Planet Calypso, have announced that their newest patch is a "fusion of ideas from the community and a desire to make the game world the best it can be." For those of you who don't know, Planet Calypso is the first real-world economy MMORPG, and we just recently reported on a "Virtual Egg" that was sold in Planet Calypso for a staggering $69,696.69 USD.

For this particular patch, the First Planet Company focused on creating a new Question/Mission system, as well as implementing extensive survey opportunities to allow players to voice their opinions to the team. As well, not only will the in-game mission GUI system be improved, but the team also has big plans to upgrade the graphical feel of the game. As a result of their work, the Cyclops area between East Scylla Mountains and Fort Troy, as well as some Land Areas and Outback Lands to various degrees on Amethera have been improved. The team notes that not only do these environments look much better, but they are also optimized for better performance. Win-win situation! FIXED ISSUES
• Newcomer spawn - When first arriving to Calypso the new settlers spawn in the following order:
1.PortAtlantis
2. Cape Corinth
3. Fort Ithaca
If the Port Atlantis server is full or down the newcomers will spawn at Cape Corinth, and so on.
• Added trilomite spawns at Amethera
• Deer Mall fee balancing.
• General Outback Land Area dressing up and bug fixing.
• Tweaked spawns at Swamp Camp and on the road to Port Atlantis.
• Fixed streaming audio at CND Control Room.
• General bug fixing.
• Estate Development Implementation from participant orders.
• Land Areas, Shops and Shopping Booths fixed
