Many Star Trek Online players have had to deal with server capacity issues throughout the open beta, Head Start and yesterday's launch. In response, Cryptic is "working on changes to further increase the number of people who can play Star Trek Online at any given time." These changes should be in place this weekend.

On a lighter note, Namco Bandai Partners wants to celebrate the launch of Star Trek Online by attempting to set a Guinness world record for the "largest gathering of people dressed as Star Trek characters" on Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. on London's Millenium Bridge. The best dressed fans will win prizes that include lifetime subscriptions for the MMO.
