BioWare published two updates on the Star Wars: The Old Republic site today. The first is Threat of Peace #24, which is a Web comic that sets the stage for the launch of the game. The second is the newest edition of Fan Friday, which showcases creations by the community.

This Fan Friday segment actually marks the launch of the new Developer Corner section that will "give the community a sneak peek of some cool work-in-progress assets (concept art, animations, 3-d renders, etc.) from the development team." Today's Developer Corner shows an environmental visual effect from the planet of Balmorra and shows examples of face disfigurements you can use to customize your character.
